FAQ
What source image should I use?
A square image at least 512 by 512 pixels gives the sharpest results across every size, since smaller icons are scaled down from it.
Do I still need an .ico file?
Modern browsers accept PNG favicons via link tags, so an .ico is optional legacy support. The generated PNG set covers current browsers and devices.
